Beautiful garden with squirrels and monkeys visiting if youre lucky Nice and welcoming housekeeper Santiago, whom we liked very much Wonderful, almost magic place outside

Kitchen utensils desperately need investment The house is very basic inside and offers sleep possibilities for 4 people

The contact with the staff was great. The house is big and spacoius, there are 2 bathrooms (small)and a kitchen with a living room. The beds were beyond comfortable. We arrived late so couldn't fully use the house's potential: beautiful outside garden in an old collonial style, patio, swimming pool and even barbecue. Warm lights were making very calm atmosphere and in the morning we even saw a monkey!

I would be just more happy with a bit better instuctions how to get there. It's outside the city, there's no shops or restaurants. We got there by night so we felt pretty uneasy: there's automatic gate which leads to a closed neighbourhood and then you drive without lights through the " jungle" and no signs but you're on the right way!

Excellent pool and wildlife, but general maintenance and facilities need work. A car is essential.

The villa and grounds were a good size, and the swimming pool and wildlife were excellent. The airconditioning to kitchen and bedrooms worked well, although all units would benefit from a good clean.

The property is in need of some real general maintenance. Locks to windows and doors are inadequate and do not lock appropriately, some of the flyscreens are in poor condition, often falling out of runners. Only one sink out of 4 at Villa had a plug that held water, there is no kettle so all water had to be boiled in a saucepan on stove, and the kitchen crockery, pans and utencils were a mix and dirty upon arrival. We had an 11 night stay with no offer of a change of bedding or towels which were all fairly old, and no washing machine to do them ourselves, There is no basic decent cleaning equipment, i.e. even a good broom to sweep floors and large outside areas. There is no local information at property regarding rubbish disposal, frequency of pool cleaning etc, etc. Disappointingly the extensive garden was given a major clean on the day of our departure which it didn't appear to have had on the day of our arrival, and over all the general internal condition of this villa could be so much more with a little TLC

My niece and sister forgot their wallets and a tablet .the owner (hosts ) returned them to our resorts in playa del Carmen .we are grateful in the evening after dinner we saw monkeys all over the grounds it was awesome .pool was great too .I would definitely go back

I expected more for the $1,900 it cost us for the week.

The grounds were beautiful, as was the pool, though no one came all week to clean it. Santiago was a nice person. we just didn't didn't see him from the day we arrived, (Friday) until the following Tuesday. He answered all of our questions via text, but was pretty much 'persona non grata.' The air conditioners were good, however the two in the bedrooms were moldy.

The floors were filthy, as were the counter tops. There were NO beach towels---very inconvenient. We had to BUY them....and subsequently left them on the property upon leaving. The FOUR white towels they supplied to us were like sandpaper...How did they think 2 men were going to get clean on TWO towels each for an entire week? We also had to buy towels, hand towels (ZERO supplied) and kitchen towels, which we also left there. Hot water, both in the kitchen and in the bathrooms, was limited AT BEST. There was absolutely NO place to store groceries/no kitchen cabinets. Their estimation of a 'fully stocked' kitchen and mine seems to differ greatly. The sink in the hall bathroom leaked. The property was 45 minutes from anywhere---One CANNOT stay there without renting a car.

Comfortable Jungle Experience

-Excellent spacious property, indoors and out -Lots of nature around. If you like birds, you can check off a lot of species right from the front porch. Saw lots of monkeys too. -Alex, the caretaker is friendly and helpful. He speaks English like I speak Spanish (not much) but he's a pro using his phone to translate. Communication not an issue. -Nice kitchen, fridge, dining area -Solid Wi-Fi -Air conditioners work

-It's in the jungle, so there are some bugs (nothing horrifying though...) -Airplanes flying over are pretty loud, but it settles down at night
