Sustainable hotel in an unsustainable area

The aesthetic of the hotel matches the photos with a big emphasis on greenery and ecology, which makes for a really beautiful setting. We had a villa which was very comfortable with its own pool, and the staff will also bring breakfast to your room for no extra charge. The location is very close to the beach and also to the many chic cafes and restaurants.

The noise! There are construction works going on but that did not cause any real disturbances compared to the beach clubs which are very close by. Fireworks will go off until 3 in the morning and whilst you can ask for earplugs it really does disrupt the nights. The local ecology around the hotel has been destroyed, with the stream which you can see in some historic pictures now no more than a trickle with all the mangroves and plant life having been removed or killed. Whilst this is not the hotels fault and we had massive sympathy with them, the ambience has been affected by the local drive to turn Canggu into an Indian Ocean Ibiza.

Im really happy to choose ZIN as my first stop in Bali, its very convenient for food, spa and the beach. The stuff there are also very helpful and friendly, their dinner is very delicious.

Good location and staff, bad rooms.

The Staff is Amazing and super helpful.

Its not worth the price you pay. The ACs dont work properly in any room. Some of our friends ended up leaving paid rooms cause it was too hot. There were cockroaches and other insects in everyones room.

Great resort, nice facilities, excellent staff. Ideal if you need the beach everyday.

Great location near the beach and away from all the chaos and traffic in Canggu. It's a short walk to Batu Bolong if you want to get there to eat and shop. Otherwise, we used the GoRide scooters to get around the rest of the island. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and well maintained. Staff are amazing - always a smile on their faces and they go all out to make your stay comfortable. I needed a power adapter and a corkscrew and they brought it to me within minutes, no questions asked! I've had to pay a deposit for borrowing a power adapter in other hotels before so I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was also a very nice size and clean with the team coming by to turn down the beds and clean up every day when we were out and about.

Location of the resort is near some beach bars. I live in a city, and I am used to noises at night and I sleep with earplugs regularly but the music and fireworks from the bars nearby was off the charts. I could hear the music even with earplugs on. And on the first night, there were also those short bursts of fireworks. We woke up suddenly and disoriented wondering what the noise was. It sounded like a rifle going off! Unfortunately, this issue with loud music and fireworks carried on every day. We arrived on a Monday and the music got louder as the week progressed. Ladies night anyone?
