Hotel was nice but we felt the hotel staff were uptight and unhelpful

Views, breakfasts and location in Sorrento was quieter

The whole hotel and vibe of it was nice, we just had a bad experience with staff. Whilst professional, we didn't feel they were warm or friendly. Most of them were uptight when you'd try to smile or ask for something politely..Felt like we were out of place or an inconvenience. You're spending a bit to be there and it looks amazing on Booking.com, only we felt let down by the customer experience provided by the hotel staff. There was one older male waiter in particular that does breakfast in the morning, was visibly was leering at us in a judgmental way and short with us when taking coffee orders. We also returned from a day boat trip down to Positano and we saw him again off duty out the front of the hotel with a group of other men, again all leering at us. Not sure if it was because we were in our beach clothes after a long day, or tourists or female but we were made to feel out of place and it was quite uncomfortable.

A lovely stay with great staff and views. Quite expensive for the room we had but enjoyed it overall

The perfect getaway - Grand hotel in beautiful setting

Staff could not be more helpful and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Great facilities with pool, private beach and incredible views.

OUTSTANDING!

Amazing hotel and location! The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms clean. The view was great! Truly a great time in Sorrento and we loved being so close to the center of town.
