Superb

Comfortable stay for whole family.

Friendly staff, two bedroom suites fit 5-6 people, clean kitchen, free activities to join, such as: tennis court, bikes, snorkeling, kayaking... free parking, small grocery store, free shuttle to Royal Sands. Seaview room.

The location is a little bit far from the center of hotel zone. There are lots of seaweeds, so cannot really swim there.

Choose Their Sister Property Instead

I am giving it a better review only because of its sister property - Royal Sands. While the hotel layout is lovely and the beach was decent but not best, we spent the majority of our time at Royal Sands, traveling on a shuttle bus. That hotel offered much better food selection, amenities and MUCH better beach! So if you stay in Royal Cancun, plan to take advantage at the sister property for a much better experience!

The hotel was absolutely amazing, we enjoyed the activities and loved the room!

The hotel was just the right size (not too big like other resorts), with beautiful rooms that are suitable for big families. The kids loved the kids club and the adults enjoyed the other activities.

The hotel didnt provide after dinner activities.

Not a great location for beach and the beautiful water color of Cancn. I wish there had been more eating options.

Very good

The property was very clean, most of the staff was wonderful (white shirt front desk are not friendly unless you are a member), and a two bedroom suite with a living room murphy bed was money for traveling with three teenage boys.

The food was not the best, little variations for food choices, and no adult drinks until 11am.

For a family of 6, the Royal Cancun was clean, peaceful, comfortable, and fun. We only stayed for 2 nights but we had a great time. All of our needs were met and exceeded.

I can't think of anything that we didn't like.

Excellent

Its our second year in a row at The Villas at the Royal Cancun with family and friends. It was great and our expectations were met as usual. Very consistent with all aspects of the resort. Very friend staff and accomodating. Would recommend to family vacationers.
