Not sure it deserves the high rating

Was picked up from the airport (IDR 300.000 fee), which was nice, given the late arrival. Staff were also very helpful to get my Gojek driver at the correct address upon checkout.

The steps to the bedroom are rather high, even for someone of my height (1.74m). The mattress only had one sheet on it (so no protection sheet) and the duvet had nothing on, under or over it. If they wash the duvet after each customer, then it's fine, but I suspect this is not the case. The whole bungalow gave the impression it wasn't cleaned well, or maybe not regularly. It could be I'm too picky, it was my first hotel in Bali. Writing this from my second hotel and it gives a much better impression.

Fantastic stay!

The staff were so attentive and everyone knew us by name. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a cocktail as the staff were practising their cocktail-making skills as we arrived. We enjoyed a Balinese massage on site which was amazing and the breakfast was great too. We stayed in 'The Edge' room with a private pool and it was spotless and stunning. Thank you to everyone who made us feel like Queens!

They were building some rooms on site but the noise didn't really bother us it was still incredibly tranquil.
