Nyaya Mandir, Vadodara Overview
Nyaya Mandir, translates to 'Temple of Justice' is the District Court of Vadodara city in the state of Gujarat. Situated in the heart of the city, this marvelous piece of architecture was the brainchild of Madras architect Robert Fellowes Chisholm.
The building is inspired by a varied type of architectural styles. One can notice elements belonging to the Indo-Saracenic as well as the Mughal architecture. The structure houses a sculpture of Maharani Chimnabai, the first wife of Gaekwad Maharaja Sayaji Rao III.
