Mata no Madh, Kutch Overview
Located 138 km from the city of Bhuj, Mata No Madh, this historical temple dedicated to Jadeja deities and is situated west of Kakkadbhit. The original 1200 year old temple was demolished during the earthquake of 1819 AD.
A new temple was built by Sunderji Saudagar and was constructed with more grandeur and better dimensions. At 52 feet the main temple stands out in the skyline of Bhuj. The festival of Navratri is celebrated with great pomp and show.
