Nice place to go, but you can skip it if you are planning to do water sports in Elephant Beach, Havelock Island and Bharatpur Beach, Neil Island.

We went to Bheemeshwari today, a small village located at a distance of around 120 km from Bangalore. Despite having a clean Cauvery river flowing alongside, the bank of this place was severely litter (Read More)ed by people coming here to picnic. We had to walk a little to find out a spot that was clean enough to set up the tent. However, with beautiful fauna and greenery around, it was totally worth spending a day there!

Chittorgarh was built by Maurya Dynasty in the 7th century AD and is mainly known for its beautiful forts and temples. Despite the city being a history lover's delight, it has something for tourists of all tastes. The famous markets being Rana Sanga market, Fort Road market and the Sadar Bazaar. Also, there is an annual Jauhar Mela held in the city. Jauhar was suicide committed by the women folk each time the fort was under siege i. e thrice in its history. Visit Chittorgarh once in your life, just to see how majestic can power, glory and political superiority can be. How absolutely breathtaking a city laden with history can get.
