Excellent hostel by Dubai standards

Stayed here a year ago and returned after having tried some other 'bedstay' places in Dubai (I was traveling with someone on a very low budget). Sky hostel had gone up in price, but exceeds by far other hostels in a similar price bracket in Dubai. Moreover, since last year there were quite a few improvements. Strict prohibition of alcohol and smoking, improved noise management and deluxe seats in the common area to name just a few. It proved also easier to use the kitchen as long-stayers not longer reside in the same apartment. The host is not only very friendly, but also efficient.

Difficult to use the bathrooms annex toilets without getting wet feet or wet socks. Travel information could be improved. E.g. information on what your transport options are if you arrive (late) at Dubai or Abu Dabi airports. Stayed one week.

Great in a pickle

Good location, close to metro & attractions, nice guests, facilities available, curtain on bottom beds, toilet in the room, nice big mirror and vanity, balcony, drinking water dispenser. Lockers are small, but available. Quick answer.

Host was oddly interested in your business, I was trying to get dressed & he kept talking to me. Slightly uncomfortable, but nothing too weird. Couldn't wear any house slippers inside. Classic wet toilet, but everything was wet - toilet, countertop, even far away from the shower.

Value for money

For the price it was a decent place to recharge and get some sleep. There was wifi as well and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The building also had 1 parking space for the guests on a first come first basis.

Sky hostel is the best

Budget friendly, best accommodation.. Cosy but comfortable room with free wifi and air conditioning. The staff is humble. They have a kitchen as well so you can cook and enjoy your meal with new friends. Adil the owner has a very good sense of humour so you can listen to him having a cup of tea sometimes. Thank u sky hostel for this wonderful stay.

The only Issue is untidy and stinking washroom which thoroughly depends on the guests. Rest of the things were perfect.
