Cozy Guesthouse with Wonderful Hosts

This cozy, seven-room guesthouse is run by a lovely couple who are super helpful and kind! Through them we arranged whale watching, transportation, and ate delicious cakes from their shop next door. The included breakfast was wonderful, and we appreciated the extras that the owner provided when he heard about our kids' preferences (they love string hoppers!), as well as sweet treats for New Years. Their garden was a nice spot to start the day. The location was close to several restaurants and a short walk (~ 10 min.) to the beach. We even walked to Turtle Beach no problem with the kids as it was overcast both days. Rooms had AC, a fan, and hot showers. Simple, but great value.

It rained the three days we were in Mirissa. We heard that it was not typical for December. There was a damp feeling in the rooms which was improved by running the AC for a bit.

Rooms and bath rooms were very clean. About 500m away from the beach.

There wasnt a proper parking place, I had to park my car in a access road to the adjacent (bare) land..

One room was good, but the other one had a smell of mold and no hot water in shower.

Lovely place to stay when visiting Mirissa

George and his family are lovely people and very helpful with everything you need. The breakfast was very nice. De room is a bit small, but has a table and chairs where you can put all your stuff. The location is great, few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

Everything is a bit outdated.

Superb

Very welcoming and hepful owner of the place. Locaton is nice, walking distance to the beach. The breakfast at the open air was awesome, they accomodate time of it to your needs. My room was pretty small, but very clean and with everything needed for short stay.
