A hidden gem in Allepphy

The rooms were fine. Staff were super helpful and prepared a nice breakfast. On the outskirts of the town, which is the nicest part to be fair and there are some really nice places to go for walks in the surrounding backwaters. The hotel reception were also helpful in arranging a boat tour of the surrounding waters, which I would highly recommend.

I did not know from the listing that the hotel was a boat ride across the river from the main town. If I had done, I might have packed a bit more practically for the trip.

Perfect stopover prior to our houseboat stay

Not too much detail here, as arrived late afternoon and departed for a houseboat stay the next morning. We saw on here that people felt that the short canoe ride required to get to the property was a negative, but it added fun to the trip for us. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast delivered to our veranda outside room was ample. Room wasn't huge, but worked for the one night we needed it for. Lovely spot on the river.

Very good

Lovely quiet hotel with a fantastic view over the lake.

You feel as if you are held captive as you have to get a boat to leave despite land access being an available route for staff.

I like the lake view and staff behaviour.

Room was very small, untidy, they gave us only a soap as senetary apart from this nothing they have provided. Rooms was not that clean, door lock was not properly working. I didn't like the experience, there are much better option available in nearby places with better facilities and with same or less price ..
