Disappointing

The rooms were clean.

The construction of the property is of the opposite side of the much needed view. You would be expecting that we would get the valley view, but instead you would get a view of the opposite direction. Majority of the hotels in munnar are facing the valley (which is very beautiful), but the construction of the building is such that the valley view is behind of the building. The hotel is just for the name sake, they do not even have a small kitchen to make morning tea for the guests, instead the tea bags & sugar was provided without any milk powder sachets. The property doesn't have any kitchen so it's understandable that food service would not be present, but they should atleast have some sets of plates, spoon & glasses. Staff is really good which helped in giving us tea from a nearby local vendor. The management of Greenland residency has taken an advance amount of the booking a day earlier which was NOT supposed to be taken as per the booking details. Please be aware and do not give money in advance, only pay after you reach the property and check the room view before giving any money at the reception so that you could look for other options if you need valley view.
