Great location, lake view, dog friendly, free parking.

Great location in Zell am See, near the train station and Elisabethpark/lake promenade. Easy walking distance to restaurants/bars/shops in town. For a central location, it is great that you can find a hotel with free parking, so you can leave your car at the hotel and walk/hike/cycle around the area. My room was on the top floor with balcony and I could see a little bit of the lake which was amazing. Kettle and small water jugs are provided in the room as well which is a bonus. Good wi-fi. Dog friendly (10 per day extra). Guests receive a Zell am See "Guest Card" which gave free access to public bus, and 10% discount on Schmittenhhebahn.

Mattress was a little bit too soft for my liking. Toilet/WC was separate from shower/sink and there was no sink in the toilet to wash hands.

When I visit Zell am See, I will stay here again.

Location, Staff, Cosiness, Price

No safe-box in the room, no shampoo in the bathroom ( only liquid hand soap bottle) , no slippers.

Best place to stay summer or winter.

We booked this apartment night before we left Schruns. What a surprise to find hotel 5mins from railway station and the Lake in centre of Zell. Rooms (2) were spacious and next door to each other with connecting balconies', great. View to left was chair lift up mountain and to right, the lake. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was continental and well stocked.

Nothing it was perfect.

The family who run it and all the staff are very nice. Good breakfast. Good bed. Close to the railway station (short uphill walk to the hotel) few minutes walk to the lake, or for the town and the cable cars

spend as little time in the room as you can

the beds were comfy and a free coffee in the morning

the heating never came on so you couldnt dry any clothes after being out skiing, they never changed the towels just made the bed in the mornings

Expected more for the price paid.

The location.

The pillows were not confortable at all. The towels were not as expected (the small ones for the face seemd too used). The room did not had a fridge and as it was very warm we could not store food on the balcony. The walls are so thin I could hear the neighbours speaking untill very late in the night (this was the most unpleasant thing for myself as I could not sleep well). They donot serve breakfast and this was a big minus for me, because I expected that I could order to door from the bakery (as I was informed by the property), but the bakery said that they dont do deliveries so I waked every morning to buy my breakfast (not very fun).

You don't get much closer to lifts or train station. Self-check-in process in Winter, but top notch.

Barmy winter self-check-in process, but good communication from team and once in was frankly blown away by the location. Not ski-in/-out, but as close as you can get otherwise. When I did meet the staff, they were delightful, helpful and spoke impeccable English. I will definitely be back and hope to have the same room as it had glorious high vaulted ceilings, two very comfortable twin beds, plentiful power outlets/charging points and well ventilated/very warm. Plenty of space for storage and ski / boot room with heated boot warmers was a nice touch on the Ground floor level.

Shower was a little cramped, but otherwise faultless.
