Wonderful weekend break in Milan.

17th century former merchants house- spacious bedroom and lounge area, large shower room. Lovely welcoming staff and delicious breakfast. Excellent location.

Great stay!!

The location downtown, the spacious and clean room, the very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast. Overall a great stay, despite a few issues with the access of an old building.

The hotel is on the first floor of an old building and you need to carry your bags around 10 steps to reach the entrance. For a few hours, there was a smell of sewage at the street level hall that gave access to the hotel.

The best few days that we've spent on a city break.

The room was really very lovely and comfortable and the terrace was amazing! We loved the quirkiness of the hotel, and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better for visiting all that Milan has to offer for sightseeing and dining, and also getting to/from the train to the airport. We used Cadorna train station which has an express service to Malpensa.

A charming, warm and welcoming stay in the heart of Milan city!

Very beautiful building, staff extremely helpful warm and welcoming. They each provided helpful advice on where to visit and how to get there. The breakfast was also really tasty!

No kettle in the room! But the staff served tea and coffee to the room so it didnt really make a difference!

Loved the room ambience of the property!

Stairsthere was a very small elevator but we were traveling with other family members and only 2 could fit in the elevator at a time, so we traded off. The other disappointment was we chose this property for the decks with outdoor seating and it rained while we were thereso unfortunate because it was so lovely.

Great stay, would stay again.

The property is in a great location, being only a short walk into the city centre. The terraces were lovely and the flowers made the hotel have a great feel.

The shower area was very small and the shower head was full of limescale, meaning that there was very little water pressure. The breakfast was also very limited, although the staff were attentive and welcoming. There was also only a thin bed sheet and small blanket available, which in the chiller evenings wasnt ideal but I didnt ask for more blankets so cant complain too much. Room service also took quite some time to come.
